- Another big earthquake hit Miyagi Prefecture on April 7th 23:32. Media tells that some areas, including Aomori, Iwate, Fukushima, Miyagi and Yamagata, are facing blackouts.
- Estimated highest level of tsunami from this earthquake is 1 meters high- however no tsunami has been observed for the time being.
- According to Tokyo Electric Power Company, no major issue from this earthquake has been identified in the nuclear power plant in Fukushima.
